Mission
The mission of the Wolfe City ISD library
program is to provide access to a variety of materials
and information that will stimulate an appreciation of
literature, foster student achievement, and promote
life-long learning.

Policies and
Procedures
Library Cards:
Students receive a library card at the
beginning of the school year. Library material may
only be checked out when accompanied by the student's
library card. Lost library cards should be
reported to the Library Assistant and will be replaced
for a fee of $1.00.
Loan of Materials:
Books are checked out for two weeks and may be renewed
when the book is returned to the library.
Overdue Books:
Books held beyond the due date accumulate a 10 cent fine
for each day not returned. Students may not check
out another book until the fine is paid and the book is
returned.
Excused Absence: No late fee is charged during
the time a student is out of school with an excused
absence, provided the material is returned on the first
day the student returns to school.
Lost Materials:
A lost book must be paid for before
library privileges are returned to the student.
The cost of the book is the replacement cost. If a
lost book is found and returned, a refund will be made
for the cost of the book, minus the late charge due at
time of return.
Repair Fee:
Students will pay $2.00 for damaged
books that can be repaired. A fee of $5.00 will be
charged when students pop the spine of a book.
