Each fourth grade class comes to the Computer Lab one period per week.  Mrs. Rogers’ class comes on Wednesday and Mrs. Woolsey’s class comes to the lab on Thursday.

Third grade works through our technology curriculum, TechKnowledge.  This curriculum includes the following units of study:

ü    Computer Basics

ü    Keyboarding

ü    Word Processing (mirrors Microsoft Word)

ü    Drawing and Graphics (mirrors Microsoft Paint)

ü    Gadgets

ü    Presentation (mirrors Microsoft PowerPoint)

ü    Spreadsheet (mirrors Microsoft Excel)

ü    Database (mirrors Microsoft Access)

ü    Electronic Reference

In addition to TechKnowledge, students will work extensively in Microsoft PowerPoint applications so that they will become proficient in creating, editing and publishing presentations this year.  This will be an emphasized curriculum area for 3rd and 4th graders in the computer lab this year.
