Hi, I am Sharon Duncan. I am proud to say that I have been teaching at Wolfe City Elementary for the past 20 years! I graduated from East Texas State University in 1986 and came to work for WCISD straight out of college.

I enjoyed being a classroom teacher for many years and taught first through fourth grades. I also taught in the Reading Lab for several years. This was an excellent job for me, as my specialization in college was reading.

This is my third year in the Computer Lab. Teaching in the Computer Lab has been a wonderful experience for me, as I learn every day—often from the students I teach! It is an exciting curriculum area, and one that I believe will be so important for our students as they become adults.

The best thing about my job is that I get to teach every child in the school! This makes me a very lucky teacher.

I have a wonderful husband named Mike, who drives a bus for the district and also has a home-based electronics repair business. We have a beautiful daughter, Hannah, who is currently a fourth grader here at Wolfe City Elementary.
