Classroom Rules
- Abide by the Student Code of Conduct.

- Abide by the WCISD Acceptable Use Policy of
Computer and Electronic Communication Resources. It
is located in the 2008-2009
Student Handbook as Appendix I.
- Arrive to class on time and be seated.
Log in with username and password and begin daily routine without being
prompted by instructor.
- Bring all supplies to class.
This includes required class folder, class spiral, pen, and pencil.
- Take care of personal business on your own time. Leaving the classroom is not
permitted except for bathroom emergencies. Bathroom trips should not
exceed 3 trips per semester.
- Listen and participate during lessons.
Please face and look at the speaker, take notes, and participate in
computer-led activities. Talking is not allowed when another person
is speaking.
- Do your own work and be honest. All work is considered
individual unless specifically defined by the teacher.
- Respect yourself and respect others.
Speak courteously to everyone in the classroom; this includes not
gossiping.
- Be a good steward of property. Eating and drinking in
the computer labs are not permitted; this includes candy and gum.
Grooming in the computer labs is not permitted; this includes grooming
hair and applying makeup and lotions. Use the computer equipment
properly, and please do not sit on table tops or put feet on walls.
- Complete all assignments on time. Attendance
in class provides most students with ample time to complete computer-related
assignments. However, if not, it is the student's responsibility to
complete makeup work or due work within the Late Work Policy Guidelines.
Consequences
Infractions
will be recorded on a detention form or behavior report and submitted to the
office, principal, and parents/guardians. These infractions will be
handled under school guidelines.
Minor
infractions may be recorded in a behavior log. This shall be determined only at the
discretion of the teacher.
