Our goal is that every student feels a sense of self-worth and develops the skills necessary to lead happy and productive lives!

What is a School Counselor?

A school counselor is a certified, trained, and caring professional that assists students in acquiring the skills they need to develop their social, emotional, career, and educational goals. Although counselors protect the privacy rights of children and families when possible, WCISD counselors are required by law to report any form of child abuse or neglect.
