Assistant Principal

Casey Willaby

My name is Casey Willaby, and I am incredibly honored and excited to be Wolfe City ISD's first ever assistant principal for the 2023-2024 school year.

This is my 13th year in education. I began my career as a substitute teacher while in college. I moved into a paraprofessional role then various teaching roles in Pre-K through 5th grades. I spent an incredible year in Haiti teaching both kids and adults as well as helping with mission trip teams. Most recently, I oversaw the ESL and bilingual programs at a campus in Lewisville ISD. Education and equity are my passions, and I am so excited to help plant seeds and grow greatness at WCES this year!

I grew up in Caddo Mills and went to Bland ISD throughout my educational career. I was eager to get back to my small town roots and be near my family and the area I call "home." I am thrilled to serve the students, staff, and community in Wolfe City ISD.
