About Me

Hey there! My name is Amberlie Herron and I am going to be your child's 3rd grade math teacher this year! I am so excited to get this year started, I know it is going to be the best year yet! I am a Wolfe City native as I grew up here, and I also graduated from Wolfe City High School in 2011. My entire family is also from Wolfe City as well, so I kind of love this place! I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach PK-6th grade and I also have an ESL certification. I am embarking on my 7th year of teaching, and my second year at WCISD. My husband Colt is also a Wolfe City graduate, and together we have two sweet little babies. Cannon is five and Beau Claire is two. We enjoy spending our time outside, being with our family, and watching ALL the sports! I am truly looking forward to this year, and seeing all that your child will accomplish. Communication is KEY for me as a teacher, and I always want to make sure you know as a parent that you can call, or message any time you need something regarding your child. We are learning together, let's get this school year started!

Homework

Mrs. Herron's Homework

This year in third grade, your child will have a weekly spiral review packet for homework. This homework is beneficial to your child because it continuously spirals skills previously learned, and skills we are learning now. This homework should not take your child more than 10-15 minutes. I tried my best to make it convenient for you and your family as well as making sure your child is practicing their daily math skills each night.

I really appreciate your support in making this your child's best year yet. Please encourage them to continuously take care of their homework and daily responsibilities.
