About Me

My name is Joe Watson, this is my 5th year at WCISD and my 33rd year in education. I have been a teacher/coach at Whitewright, Blue Ridge, Howe, Celeste, and Tom Bean. I retired from Texas in 2015 and taught in Colbert and Achille Oklahoma for one year before coming back to Texas. I really believe that being here in Wolfe City is the best. I enjoy teaching, coaching, and being with the students on a daily basis. I believe that it is my responsibility to take care of the students and to educate and coach them in every possible way.

I have been married for 41 years to my best friend Melinda and we have been blessed with four kids and seven grandkids. We live out in the country between Whitewright and Tom Bean. We love to travel and enjoy gardening and taking care of a few cows.
