Ginger White Named New WCES Principal

During the Special Board Meeting held on March 2, 2019, Ginger White was named as the Wolfe City Elementary School Principal by the WCISD Board of Trustees. Her official start date will be March 18, 2019. As we celebrate Open House for Texas Public School Week March 4-8, Wolfe City ES will be hosting an Open House this Thursday from 6pm-7pm. Mrs. White and I will be at the Open House to meet and greet parents and students.

Ginger White is honored to be joining Wolfe City ISD as the Elementary Principal.  Mrs. White brings to WCISD 19 years in elementary education.  Mrs. White previously served in Sherman ISD as an Assistant Principal.  Prior to her assistant principal role, she was a Math teacher in Resource KG - 4, taught in grades 2 and 4, and served as a Summer School Principal for Limited English Proficient students.

“I am excited to be joining the WCISD family with all the positive success stories about the students, staff and families.  I look forward to being part of the continued pride and traditions that Wolfe City has with their school and community. My focus is building relationships with the students, staff and families.  Together we can allow each and every child to reach their true potential”. -GW

Mrs. White earned her BS degree from SOSU and her Masters from TAMU-Commerce.  She and her husband Danny have two children, Kaitlyn and Dylan. In her spare time, she and her husband play a board game called “Wahoo” (similar to Parchisi) with her best friends in Bailey.

I am sure that Mrs. White will exceed everyone’s expectations throughout our community. She loves the Elementary setting and is here to support all students, all teachers, and all parents.

Sincerely,

Anthony Figueroa
