
The Howl After School Program crashed the Grove Hill Pumpkin Patch this afternoon. We learned how pumpkins grow, got to pet a few animals, took a hay ride, ate a snack or two, and even got a few pumpkins to go!





Our 4th grade science students had a wild time participating in several sports themed stations while learning about force and motion.





3rd grade has been having a blast investigating force and motion around our school.




Wolfe City Elementary students will be joining the Middle School campus tomorrow, October 13th for their 'Pink Out' pep rally at 2:45 pm. Please help us pink out the gym tomorrow by sending your student to school in pink!

To help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and National Taco Day, the Admin Team is going to provide Steak & Chicken Street Tacos, Elote, and Limonada to the WCISD community on Saturday, October 8th from 11am-1pm (or until we run out).


Kindergarten went on a letter hunt in the yellow pages during small group time! Each student drew a letter card and then found words with with that letter in it.

“Unlock the Pumpkin Patch” challenge.

Community Training: Stop the Bleed
Stop the Bleed training is Oct. 5th from 6:30-7:30pm in the Sidney Wasson Center. All community members and students are welcome to attend this free training.

Wolfe City Elementary students studied different types of textures found in nature. Each student made waxy leaves, rough tree bark, hard rocks and flowy water to create our forest mural.

Our HOWL students have been researching animals and their habitats, created animal habitat models, and this week got to spend an afternoon getting up close and personal with a few of those animals.

We are grateful to our teachers for providing multiple opportunities for our students to just stop and enjoy the many books available to them. Kids who learn love reading early become life long readers!
