On Nov. 30th, join WCISD in raising awareness for diabetes by having all students & staff wear blue jeans and a blue shirt.
Texas has one of the highest rates of diabetes. The number of persons in Texas with diabetes is projected to quadruple to nearly 8 million by 2040.

Today, Wolfe City is hosting its first 1st Vex Robotics Competition. Wolfe City, Farmerville, Greenville, Dodge City, Miller Grove and Cooper are all competing. Stop by the middle school gym to catch all of the excitement.

K-5th participated in bike safety this week! Each class learned about the importance of bike safety when riding their bike and did some fun activities in PE. These 6 kiddos won the contest for their grade level!

The United Way of Hunt County welcomes the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to Hunt County.
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library provides the opportunity for all Hunt County children to receive a FREE BOOK every month from birth to their fifth birthday. The books are for keeps, with the idea that a family can build a library of books and share activities such as reading aloud or bedtime stories. There are no limits to the number of registered children within a household.
The program will start January 1, 2022 with registration open now. Parents can register their child(ren) online. All registrations must be approved by the United Way of Hunt County. Please share the news of this program coming to our communities.

3rd Grade Scientist experimented with candy corn and dissolving liquids. They used water, vinegar, and rubbing alcohol as testing liquids. They dropped 3 kernels of candy corn into each liquid. They made their hypothesis about which liquid would dissolve the candy first. To many students' surprise, it is was the water!
