About Me
Billy Eldridge is currently serving his 13th year as a special education teacher at Wolfe City High School. Billy started his education career in 2008 at Gunter ISD serving as a special education teacher and boys assistant coach. After one year at Gunter ISD, Billy decided to bring is passion home to Wolfe City High School. Billy is a hometown graduate, class of 2000. After balancing a full time job as a full time college student he earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M Commerce in 2007. During his time at Texas A&M Commerce he was part of multiple campus organizations while also contributing towards Children’s Miracle Network Philanthropy. Billy also had the honor of serving as a guest speaker for multiple teen camp’s such as “Dare to Dream” and “Overcoming Obstacles”.
Billy is serving WCISD as the high school special education teacher, district testing coordinator, district transition coordinator and head tennis coach. In each of these positions Billy is consistently working with staff and students to foresee the best outcome for the district and most importantly the post secondary plans of the students. “There is no better feeling in the world than being able to serve my career in my hometown giving back what it once gave me”.
Billy and his wife Nicole live in Sulphur Springs, Tx with their 3 children Weston, Charlie and Salem.
