The UIL Academic Regional Meet was held in Nacogdoches on Saturday, April 20, at Stephen F. Austin University.  Pictured above are the five Wolfe City High School students who participated at the meet in Ready Writing, Feature Writing, Literary Criticism, Persuasive Speaking, and Computer Applications.  Computer Applications contestants, Junior Dylan Wilkinson (second from left) and Senior Ryan Marston (far right), will advance to the State Meet in Austin on May 21.  Dylan placed 3rd in the event, winning the Bronze Medal, and Ryan placed 5th.

District and Area Track Events were held at Don Howard Stadium in Wolfe City April 10, 11, and 17.  Nine Wolfe City students will be advancing to the Regional Meet in Abilene on April 26 and 27.

Wolfe City School Board members were surprised with an appreciation program during National School Board Appreciation Week in January.  The theme for the evening was "Rising to New Heights."  Elementary, Middle, and High School students led the program.
