Earlier today WCHS communicated that they were in a "SECURE" protocol; NOT a "LOCKDOWN" protocol. There was a situation near the HS, but not related to the HS. A "SECURE" protocol went into effect to ensure increased security measures are in place.
WCISD uses a system known as SRP. Staff, subs, parents, & students were trained at the beginning of the year. Please refer to the link below for info on the different protocols. https://5il.co/1ky5v

Students participating in the HOWL program have extended their deadline for donations to take to the Clyde Cosper Veteran's Nursing Facility to Thursday November 17th. We have not received many donations. Please bring them to the Elementary office by Thursday before dismissal.

Monday November 14 through Wednesday November 16th from 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM, PTO will be at the Elementary campus to facilitate students to paint their pre approved ceiling tile artwork. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.
