WCMS celebrated Cassidy Herron last week in honor of Secretary Appreciation Day! She is a great addition to the middle school office staff!
The District Administrative Office Team celebrated Julie, Angie, and Ellie with an office tea party this week. Thank you Julie for making this happen. And thank you again to our AMAZING Administrative Professionals! They always Go The Extra Mile!
Ellie Valdez was recognized this week in honor of Administrative Professionals Day. As the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, Ellie is someone everyone can rely on. She approaches every task with professionalism, kindness, and a strong commitment to excellence. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and positive attitude make her an essential part of our team. We are grateful for all she does to support the district and its leadership. BREAKING NEWS! WCHS Junior Isabelle Patterson is the 2025 UIL Regional 2A Accounting Champion! She will advance to the UIL Academic State Meet in Austin on May 19. Team members, Senior Lexi Stanbery and Junior Bri Garcia, won state team alternate positions.
Congratulations to our Wolfe City Tennis Teams who competed in the District Tournament this week! Girls won runner up trophy as a team and boys earned 3rd as a team.

Academic UIL Regional Qualifiers will be competing in Denison on April 25-26. Isabelle Patterson, Lexi Stanbery, and Bri Garcia qualified as 1st Place District Accounting Team. Calin Fleming qualified as 3rd Place District Prose Interpretation; Mackenzie Guiette qualified as 3rd Place District Social Studies; and Serenity Williams qualified as 4th Place (Alternate) District Poetry Interpretation.
If you are going into the 7th - 12th grade next year and are interested in a career exploration experience, Paris Junior College (Greenville Campus) is offering a FREE opportunity this summer! Check out the flyer and get your student signed up so that they can experience first hand some of the industries, certifications, professors, courses, and such that are available to them. This is not affiliated with WCISD, but it is a good way to also preview some of the certification programs that WCHS has to offer through dual credit as well while in high school.
