WCHS seniors were hosted by the First Baptist Church of Wolfe City for a celebration dinner. Thank you for a fun evening together!

UIL Academic Regional medalists will advance to the State Meet in Austin this week. Isabelle Patterson individually qualified to compete in Accounting. The Accounting Team, including Isabelle Patterson, William Smith, Hester Rico, and Clay Horton, ranked as the alternate team to state. Jameson Webb qualified to compete in Current Events. Congratulations to our WCHS academic UIL state qualifiers!

Friday we celebrated a truly legendary teacher, Mrs. Paula Fitzgerald. After 30 years of incredible dedication to our students and community, we wish her the absolute best in her retirement. While it is a bittersweet farewell, her impact will be felt at Wolfe City for years to come. Thank you, Mrs. Fitzgerald!

WCHS was spoiled last week May 5-8 for Teacher Appreciation Week by the community. Thanks to everyone for all of the lunches and treats!

The Wolfe City Education Foundation continues to make a difference at WCHS. Two recent grants have been fully implemented, providing essential resources for our classrooms:

-Mrs. Cawley used grant funds to equip our Academic UIL students for their competitions.

-Mrs. Herron purchased new cameras and pen tablets for the AAVTC department, fostering significant growth in student expertise.

We are grateful for the Wolfe City Education Foundation's ongoing commitment to our programs.

WCHS would like to invite you to celebrate with us as we wish Happy Retirement to the legend, Mrs. Fitzgerald. She is a pillar on our campus, and we are sad to see her graduate with this class. But we are incredibly happy for her! The celebration will be a come and go lunch hosted at WCHS Gym on May 15 from 11:30-1:30. ID will be required to attend since it is during the school day.

Closing out the 2025-2026 school year at WCHS is BUSY! To help ensure that you do not miss anything, we have compiled a list of dates and times. Please note that two events on May 6 require badges to enter the building and attend the events since they are during the school day. These are the End of Year Awards Ceremony and Senior Signing Day. Please use the link provided if you plan to attend either so that we can have badges preprinted. Other evening events do not require badges, but may require tickets. It's Hunt County Fair Time! FFA has a busy line-up. These students have been working and preparing for this all year. Head out to the Fair and show your support for our FFA program!
