
“Rising Above Expectations With Industry Certifications!” Over 15 WCHS students received an industry certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist. An industry certification verifies that students have the skills needed for today’s college and career opportunities.

The Class of 2022 enjoyed a 3-day senior trip. The trip included a day at a water park in Waco and an evening at Six Flags in Arlington!

IMPORTANT UPDATE SENIOR SUPPER!!!! Due to incoming weather the Senior Supper will be moved to Calvary Baptist Church. Time will be 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

Senior trip 2022 was a success and all the young women and men that went on the trip had a great time at BSR park in Waco and then Six Flags in Arlington.

Seniors 2022 show off their college pride as they anticipate their upcoming high school graduation!


The WCHS Student Award Ceremony will be held next Tuesday, May 17th at 2:00 pm. Parents are welcome to attend.


Help celebrate WCISD's Elementary and Secondary Teacher(s) of the Year. Teachers, students, and community can watch the announcement on "Facebook Live" today around 1:15pm.
TOTY's will go on to compete at the Regional TOTY level, be recognized with an award at the WCCC Banquet (June), recognized at the Region 10 TOTY Luncheon (July), featured in the Region 10 magazine, and they will receive a TOTY stipend in 2022-2023.


Congratulations to both WCHS students who advanced to the State UIL Academic Meet held in Austin! Ian Martinez broke the school's record to be the first accounting student to compete at the state level. Julissa Olvera won a 5th place medal in computer applications.


All WCISD campuses WILL remain on time today. We are aware of the water line break last night within city limits and have been, and continue to be, working with the city crews.
