We will communicate if the weather allows for school on Friday as soon as we can, and we will communicate how missed schools days will need to be made up. WCISD will continue normal operating hours today, Feb. 23rd. This decision was based off of the 3:40am weather briefing by the NWS to ISDs. This 1st band of precipitation should not effect roadways throughout school hrs. Tonight's 2nd weather band may have a stronger effect to roadways and will be reviewed at the 1pm & 9pm NWS briefings.

At this time, WCISD will start school at regular time tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 23rd. We are working closely with the Nation Weather Service daily at 1pm, 9pm, and 3: 45am throughout this winter mix. We do ask student drivers to be careful on bridges and overpasses.
