Texas passed recent legislation creating a program targeted to increase dual credit enrollment through community colleges. With WCISD's agreement with Paris Junior College, our students may qualify for dual credit classes at no cost to the family.
If you are already enrolled in dual credit with PJC or if you would like more information on this initiative, please make plans to attend a meeting at the WCHS Cafeteria on Tuesday, August 22 at 5:00 p.m.
Please see the attached info graphic to see what dual credit courses will be available under this program as currently offered through WCHS and PJC.

Good afternoon Pride Prep families,
Please see the info graphic attached for the schedule of classes. There you will find what courses you will take along with times, locations, and professor names. Note that the first day of class is Monday, August 28, and classes begin at 7:30 a.m.
Classes will be face to face on Mondays and Wednesdays only. Fridays will be held remotely. The way that is handled will be left up to the individual professors. Students may be required to zoom in and work during that specific time or assigned work to complete on their own. Students will be able to use the library during these scheduled times and may be required to do so once we learn the Friday schedule of each class.
Additionally, parents and freshmen students will be asked to attend the freshmen orientation that will be held on Monday, August 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commerce High School Tiger Room where you will meet your professor and learn about what the next four years of pride prep will hold.
I have not received any confirmation about another pride prep meeting for the 10-12 grade levels, but I can email you an FAQ for 11th and 12th grades if needed. The main thing to remember is that all juniors and seniors MUST have their meningitis vaccine records uploaded to TAMUC before first class day!
If you have any questions, please email samplej@wcisd.net.
Thanks!
Mrs. Sample

Hello parents and guardians of Wolfe City High School Students. I want to apologize for any inconvenience before hand concerning changes to the after school pick up process. Over the last couple of years there has been some concern over the students dismissal after school. With a growing population in the school and area there are more individuals that are using the front parking lot to pick up students after school. This is causing issues with busses being able to get off and on HWY 34, as well as, cars moving through the parking lots as students are walking through the same areas. It has caused a safety concern. Please look at the flyer attached to show the after school parent pick up route and time frame. Again, sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

GOOD MORNING WCHS STUDENTS!!!!! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer break. This information is for all the students that will be driving this year. Please follow the link below to the proper documentation.
