Seniors participated in a workshop session on Mon, March 25 for focused work time to complete local scholarships . They completed application packets and had time for individualized help for other post-secondary planning questions! Thank you, Natalie Smith, for a productive day!

WCHS softball played against North Hopkins this afternoon. They may have been competing in the game, but if you look closely, you will see little hints of green, showing their unified support of Lynn! Thank you NH for asking to join us in wearing green for the game to show that we fight together, taking time to pray together for her before the game. 💚

WCHS is green today in support of Lynn!

Monday, March 25, seniors will have an opportunity to work in the library for two class periods (3-4) on their local scholarships or any other post-secondary thing that they need to get done. We will have Mrs. Natalie Smith on hand to help explain the process. Mrs. Warren will be there to help with the printers, computers, and copies. Mrs. Willaby will be there to help seniors with their testing folders. With this team, seniors should be able to produce several applications which will be delivered by WCHS to local organizations! We look forward to a productive workday!

Wolfe City Student Council hosted a volleyball tournament to benefit WCISD Clothes-4-Kids. Students and teachers faced off for several games with the boys' team overcoming the coaches' team by 1 point. The event yielded donations of $561.

Attention all parents of WCHS students. Just a reminder that as students get to a point to obtain their drivers license and they plan on driving on campus, it is a requirement that they get a parking permit from the front office. Also, students are not allowed to drive and park on school property with just a driving permit, they must have a drivers license. If they are driving with just a permit on campus, the keys will be taken up and parents/guardians contacted to come get the vehicle. If it is repeated they run the risk of having the vehicle towed at the owners expense. This is a safety matter and will be treated as such. Thanks for your cooperation with this matter.
Please review the test dates to see if there is a test that you need to take. These are tests that will be offered during the school day at the WCHS campus. Deadlines for ACT and SAT are next week! See Mrs. Sample to sign up or email with questions... samplej@wcisd.net. Payment is due when signing up for test.

ATTENTION WCHS students we will start classes tomorrow at 10:00 am. The first bell will ring at 9:55 to go to class. We will go to 3rd period starting at 10:00 and then continue on as normal day.
Please see school closing information

BRING THE HEAT! WCHS Prom Committee is sponsoring a chili cook-off on Friday, January 19, during the Wolves vs Blue Devils basketball games.

I hope everyone had a great break!! As we kick off the second semester tomorrow I just wanted to remind everyone that if you were supposed to take your semester exams, but were absent you will need to report to the office during first period. Make sure you have your Chromebook charged.
