Attention all WCHS parents/guardians. As many of you know vaping among teens nation wide has been on the rise. We here at WC ISD are wanting to be proactive and make sure that here at WCHS are doing what we can to deter and/or eventually eliminate this at the high school. Compared to other schools WCHS has been fortunate to not experience the vaping intensity others have. One step that we have recently taken is to install vape detectors in restroom and locker room areas. When these detectors send an alert that something was detected any and all students that are around the area within the time frame of the detector reading something will be pulled and a proper search conducted as needed. If nothing is found the student will be sent to class, but if something is produced during the search then the appropriate process and consequences will be administered. We are giving parents/guardians a heads up on the steps WCHS is taking in this matter, as well as preparing you just in case your child does participate in a search. Thanks admin

WC ISD will be hosting a Special Olympics Bocce Ball at WCHS today. We ask that all seniors can park in the new front lot, but all other students please park at the softball end of student parking lot. There will be several buses from different schools and we will need the parking nearest football field.

UPDATE ON FAN BUS!!! There will NOT be a fan bus for the football game due to lack of student participation.
almost 2 years ago, Shawn Poe
FAN BUS UPDATE! As of now we have a driver for the bus, but limited numbers of student's signing up. We will close the sign up at 3:00 pm today. If we have 20 or more students then there will be a fan bus, but if not then there will not be one.

WCHS pending available bus drivers and amount of students that sign up, will determine fan bus availability. There is a sign up sheet and permission slips in the HS office. Fan bus is only HS students, must have minimum 20 sign up and students must return permission slip Friday morning. If no driver and/or 20 minimum then there will not be a fan bus. Students will be informed ahead of time if there is not going to be a fan bus.
