Seniors participated in a workshop session on Mon, March 25 for focused work time to complete local scholarships . They completed application packets and had time for individualized help for other post-secondary planning questions! Thank you, Natalie Smith, for a productive day!

WCHS softball played against North Hopkins this afternoon. They may have been competing in the game, but if you look closely, you will see little hints of green, showing their unified support of Lynn! Thank you NH for asking to join us in wearing green for the game to show that we fight together, taking time to pray together for her before the game. 💚

WCHS is green today in support of Lynn!

Monday, March 25, seniors will have an opportunity to work in the library for two class periods (3-4) on their local scholarships or any other post-secondary thing that they need to get done. We will have Mrs. Natalie Smith on hand to help explain the process. Mrs. Warren will be there to help with the printers, computers, and copies. Mrs. Willaby will be there to help seniors with their testing folders. With this team, seniors should be able to produce several applications which will be delivered by WCHS to local organizations! We look forward to a productive workday!

Delegates from WCHS attended the Texas Association of Student Councils District 3 Conference in Fort Worth. The theme was "Leadership As Big As Texas." WCHS brought home the Blue Ribbon Sweepstakes Award and the honor of being classified as an Outstanding Student Council.

FFA Olympic Games were hosted at WCHS this afternoon, where students participated in events such as hay bale toss, steer roping, bottle flipping, and other fun activities. It was such a nice day for students who might never have roped before got a chance to compete. Great job, Mrs. Swinson, Mr. Martin, and the FFA officers for hosting!
