Mrs. Carr was voted by the faculty and staff at WCHS as the "Leader of the Pack" for the month of February. Mrs. Carr teaches Chemistry and Physics, and is the sponsor of our award winning BETA Club!
Several teachers mentioned her outstanding work with Beta. This academically focused competition requires a tremendous amount of dedication, organization, and encouragement to motivate students to step outside their comfort zones and take on new challenges. Mrs. Carr consistently invests the time and energy needed to guide students toward success, fostering both academic growth and confidence. Her commitment to supporting students through Beta exemplifies leadership, perseverance, and a genuine passion for student achievement.

WCHS is thankful for Amber Northcutt, the WCISD Diagnostician! We appreciate all of the ways that she supports our students, teachers, admin, classrooms, and campus in general. She is a wealth of knowledge, and we are grateful for all that she does. Happy Educational Diagnostician Week, Mrs. Northcutt!

WE MADE IT TO SPRING BREAK!!! SO....PAJAMA DAY!
Roll out of bed and come to school exactly as you are.
Flannel? Perfect.
Cartoon pajamas? Even better.
Looking like you fought your alarm clock and lost? Ideal.

WCHS Juniors (Class of 2027)... Here is a reminder that if you are interested in attending RYLA, those applications are due this week. If you have mailed yours in (or submitted another way), please email Mrs. Sample (samplej@wcisd.net) so that your name is on the application list at the school for Greenville Rotary. If you have not turned it in, they need to be in Mrs. Sample's office by 7:30 am on Friday morning! There is a Rotarian stopping by to collect those first thing.
