Affirmation Station Update: This may look like a plain bulletin board to some, but to us at WCHS, this is a special space! A few of the teachers started this board before school started as a space to post positive messages. It is a Capturing Kids' Hearts thing... iykyk! When we had teachers vote on a staff star of the month to honor as our Education Champion for August, we asked them write an affirmation with their nomination. We printed those out and added them to the bulletin board as well. This week, we will announce the first WCHS Education Champion of 2024-2025! We cannot wait to share some of the amazing things their colleagues wrote about them. We have some inspiring staff members at WCHS!

Fall picture day for Wolfe City High School will be on Thursday, September 5 starting at 8:00 a.m. These will be the yearbook photos for grades 9-12 as well as staff that are taken each year and will also be used for the cafeteria photo wall. These will not be the senior tux and drape pictures (those will be on Oct 8 ). PJC DC students will take their pictures after they return from college classes. An order form will be sent home with each student on Tues, Sept 2.

Today, WCHS celebrated staff member birthdays for the month of August with cake and treats! Happy Birthday!!! We appreciate you!

Our very first award recipient "Go the Extra Mile" goes to an employee who goes above and beyond for our district. She is always there to answer any questions, lend a hand wherever is needed, and most importantly has a huge heart for our school. Wolfe City ISD is proud and honored to have her as part of our Wolfe Pack Family. Congratulations to Mrs. Julie Cupp!!! Thank you for going the extra mile each and every day!

⏰ Games start at 4:30 PM

On Thurs, August 29, WCHS Athletic Dept will host a cross country meet during the school day. To help accommodate all of the extra guests that will be near our campus with cars and buses, we ask that students park in the small parking lot closer to the front entrance of the high school and overflow in the spaces closest to that front entrance as well. We appreciate your understanding and adjustments for this event. Please reach out to Mrs. Sample, Coach Smithey, or Coach Tisdale if you have any questions.

This Friday's Pep Rally has been moved to 3:00 because of the volleyball game that will be at Trenton at 4:30. This will allow our cheerleaders time to travel to their game. Parents and community will now be able to arrive at WCHS at 2:30 p.m. to sign in with ID.
